All you need to do is select the products that best suit your requirements, remembering to select the right log size too. We are proud of the fact that not only did we pioneer the kiln drying of firewood in 2005, but, all our kiln dried logs are sourced from within 100 miles of our production unit.

We can provide you with a wide variety of pack sizes for all our products. The kiln dried logs can be delivered either loose filled in bulk bags ranging from the smallest 0.8m3 to the largest of 1.6m3. Whilst we would encourage you to buy these products to minimise plastic, you can buy the small bags which are supplied on pallet sizes ranging from 30 to 80 bags. These can be more convenient for handling and storing, particularly if you live in the middle of Manchester and are perhaps limited by space or access is a little more challenging.

Our firewood is all dried in our unique wood fired kilns which run our own wood waste with much of our electricity being produced from our solar panels. Having aire dried the firewood first, they are then placed in the kilns for approx 50-60 hours to ensure the logs are dried to below 20% moisture content. This will not only ensure you are buying ‘Ready to Burn’ approved fuel but logs that will provide the most efficient burn. Not only will you be using less fuel, but most importantly with minimal particulate emissions. These logs are particularly suitable for wood burning stoves and the best possible for the new Ecodesign, clearSkies certified range of wood burning stoves. The fuel is also great for pizza ovens and firepits where smoke will be minimal but heat will be maximised.

There are many companies that supply kiln dried logs in the Manchester area but we recommend you buy British kiln dried logs which will have a minimal carbon footprint. Many logs today are supplied in wooden crates which invariably suggests they are imported from Eastern Europe so not only travelled many miles, but often of much faster burning species such as silver birch and alder. These will burn upto 20-30% faster than native British hardwoods such as oak, ash and beech which we supply
