Dust Species: Choose from oak, cherry, whiskey, apple, beech, alder, ash. Or choose a variety pack of six contains contains one of each flavour.

Best for: Suitable for all BBQs, grills and smokers, for cold smoking and hot smoking foods.

Recommended Products: Flamers natural firelighters, of which you can choose from a pack of 24, 50 or 200. Alternatively, you could use our KindleFlamers natural firelighters.

Storage: Fine to be stored in the resealable packaging.

Perfect for cold smoking, our smoking dust is made from 100% natural, sustainably sourced woodland, delivering a rich, authentic smoky taste to meats, fish, cheese and more. The fine-grade texture ensures a slow, consistent burn, ideal for use in cold smokers, smoking cabinets and stovetop smokers. Packaged in a convenient 1.5-litre bag, it's an essential addition for BBQ enthusiasts and home smoking.

Wood Types & Flavours:

• Alder: Alder offer a mild, subtly sweet flavour that enhances without overpowering, an excellent choice for smoking fish, poultry, or beef.
• Ash produces a light to medium smoke with a delicate aroma, making it ideal for fish, chicken, and red meats.
• Apple wood is perfect for poultry, beef, pork (especially ham), game birds, lamb, and select seafood.
• Beech is a light, mild wood with a subtle nutty flavour, making it perfect for delicately flavoured meats and seafood. It’s also the best alternative to alder for smoking salmon.
• Cherry is a versatile wood, perfect for all meats and fish, with an aromatic, sweet, and fruity flavour that’s especially ideal for chicken.
• Oak pair well with all BBQ meats, fish, and hearty game, offering a medium smoky flavour.
• Whiskey wood is perfect for all red meats, including beef, pork, venison, and game. It can also be used for chicken, fish, and vegetables.

Bags are added to the top of pallets and delivery is free if ordered with your bulk orders* of firewood, but there will be a small delivery charge if ordered on their own and delivery will then be via a courier in a small van. 

*Bulk orders are orders delivered on pallets i.e. all firewood orders excluding boxes of logs which are delivered via van.
