OVERVIEW

Bulk Bag Size: 0.8m3

Volume: See stacked volume comparisons here.

Log size: 25cm (see specification below)

Log Species: Mix of hardwoods, primarily oak, beech and ash

Log moisture content: Below 20%

Best For: Woodburners and multi-fuel stoves, but also great for wood-fired hot tubs, pizza ovens and firepits.

Recommended Products: For this size bulk bag, we recommend 3 boxes of kiln dried kindling and 1 box of 24 Flamers natural firelighters or 3 boxes of KindleFlamers natural firelighters 18 packs with which you need no kindling.

Storage: The logs will still have moisture in them (albeit a low moisture content), and if they’re stored in a humid environment, they can sweat. Because of this, we recommend decanting the logs and storing them somewhere where there is sufficient airflow. Please note that if the bags are stored somewhere dry and with sufficient air flow, the logs should remain in optimal condition and can be stored in the bag.

BENEFITS

    • The most cost-effective way of purchasing kiln dried logs
    • Ready to Burn approved
    • Various log sizes means there is a log suited for all needs
    • Palletline delivery within five working days

DESCRIPTION:

This small-scale option, containing approximately 29 individual bags, is securely strapped to a pallet for safe delivery. While we recommend storing your logs in a well-ventilated log store or garage, this bulk bag offers convenience and efficiency.

To optimise your burning experience, consider adding three boxes of kiln dried kindling and one box of 24 Flamers natural firelighters. Alternatively, two boxes of KindleFlamers natural firelighters (18 packs each) can be used without kindling.

Experience our Ready to Burn logs' superior heat output and clean burn.

Our kiln dried logs, dried to below 20% moisture content, provide unparalleled heat and a clean burn. The kiln-drying process ensures a clean stove glass and prevents soot or tar buildup in your chimney. This efficiency means you'll need fewer logs compared to seasoned wood, saving you money. Enjoy consistent performance and reliability with our kiln dried logs, unlike the inconsistent moisture levels of traditionally seasoned firewood.

Choose the perfect log size for your stove.

Stove manufacturers recommend the standard 25cm length for optimal fit in 99% of wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves. However, we also offer larger 35cm and 50cm logs for larger stoves and our chunky logs for those seeking extra-large options.

Storage

Because of this, we recommend decanting the logs and storing them somewhere where there is sufficient airflow. This large-scale option, containing approximately 58 individual bags, is securely strapped to a pallet for safe delivery. While we recommend storing your logs in a well-ventilated log store or garage, this bag offers convenience and efficiency.

To optimise your burning experience, consider adding six boxes of kiln dried kindling and two boxes of 50 Flamers natural firelighters. Alternatively, two boxes of KindleFlamers natural firelighters (50 packs each) can be used without kindling.

Experience our Ready to Burn logs' superior heat output and clean burn.

Our kiln dried logs, dried to below 20% moisture content, provide maximum heat output and a clean burn. Burning kiln dried firewood below 20% moisture content prevents soot or tar buildup in your chimney and means little smoke is produced. This efficiency means you'll need fewer logs compared to seasoned wood, saving you money. Enjoy consistent performance, less smoke and more heat with our kiln dried logs, unlike the inconsistent moisture levels of traditionally seasoned logs. Our kiln dried firewood is sourced from sustainably managed woodlands and, because of the low moisture content, burns hotter and more effectively than seasoned logs.

Choose the perfect log size for your stove.

Stove manufacturers recommend the standard 25cm length for optimal fit in 99% of wood burning stoves. However, we also offer larger 35cm and 50cm logs for larger stoves and our chunky logs for those seeking extra-large options. No matter what log you pick, our kiln dried logs will provide maximum heat output.

    A Guide to Wood Burning

In this guide to wood burning, we talk about the benefits of kiln dried logs, compare seasoned and kiln dried wood, hardwood and softwood and what impact the efficiency of your stove has.
