Storage: The logs should be stored under cover in a well-ventilated space. Logs will remain in optimal condition even in the crate.

DESCRIPTION

This small crate offers a compact yet generous supply of kiln dried logs, securely stacked for easy storage and transport. Equivalent to approximately 1.2 m³ of loose fill volume, it’s the perfect option for those seeking a cleaner, more organised alternative to bulk bags.

The hardwood logs, either beech, oak, or ash—are kiln dried to below 20% moisture content, ensuring a high heat output with minimal smoke. This drying process prevents tar buildup, reduces soot, and helps keep your stove glass cleaner for longer. Thanks to their efficiency, you’ll use fewer logs compared to traditionally seasoned firewood.

Log Size Matters: Our standard 25cm logs are recommended by stove manufacturers for 99% of woodburners and multi-fuel stoves. If you prefer something different, we also offer larger 35cm logs or chunky logs for longer-lasting burns. These are not yet available in crates. 

STORAGE

Under cover, in a dry space with good airflow, the logs can also remain in the crate without compromising quality.

Please ensure your property has good delivery access with a smooth, level surface for unloading. Consider potential obstacles such as parked cars, narrow access points, road closures, or overhanging branches.
