Standard log lengths are 25cm, but also available in 35cm and 50 cm lengths although these are only available in bulk bags. If you live in central Leeds and access might be difficult, we suggest you consider buying in small bags which are delivered on pallets from 30-80 bags per pallets.

In our wood fired kilns which we developed many years ago, we dry the logs down to below 20% moisture content which ensures that you get maximum heat output from your firewood with minimal particulate emissions. They are particularly suited for wood burning stoves and also outside appliances such as fire pits and pizza ovens as smoke will be minimal.

There are obviously many other suppliers of kiln dried logs in the Leeds area, but consider that you buy British and logs that are Ready to Burn approved. If you are sourcing logs that are provided in wooden crates they are most likely from Eastern Europe and more often than not, will be of the silver birch or alder species. Whilst dry and hardwood, be aware that they will burn about 25% faster than traditional British hardwoods such as oak, ash and beech which we supply.
