Packed in a unique, attractive box with convenient carry handle. Easy to stack so takes up little space.

The product is unique in that it is all made from our own poplar plantations from the natural thinning process. Poplar is the wood of the match industry so makes the perfect kindling wood. The kiln drying process ensures it is tinder dry so no firelighters are needed, just some newspaper!

Ideal for lighting open fires, multi-fuel stoves, barbeques and fire pits.

The above can also be bought in bulk when ordering your pallet of logs. It is recommended that with a pallet of 80 bags you would need 10 boxes of kindling and with the large bulk bag, just 6 boxes.


The Poplar Tree Company

  • All our wood is cut and split before being dried in kilns which are fuelled with our own wood waste so very environmentally friendly.
  • We've been working with farmers and landowners for well over 15 years and with the Poplar Tree Company grow over 2,500 hectares of poplar – that's about 3 million trees.
  • Every year, in conjunction with the Poplar Tree Company (www.poplartree.co.uk) we plant more trees and in a typical year we plant over 100,000 trees.
  • All the kindling is made from the smaller poplar trees that are felled to make room and provide more light for the other trees to grow bigger – basically it is part of the natural management of sustainable woodland and ensures the best possible habitat for nature.
  • Here's a staggering fact – each hectare of poplar will absorb up to 10 tonnes of carbon dioxide every year.
